Crisp Sunny Autumn Day (Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, England)

Autumn in Burnham-on-Crouch

On Saturday 31st October my wife and I visited her town of birth, Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex, England. Her father is a retired shipwright and is 87 years old. He still lives in his little village after all this time. He has worked all around the world, but as always come home to the small isolated little town of his birth. This particular area of Essex is cut off because there are two rivers either side. One is the River Crouch and to the north, is the River Blackwater. There are just a few small country roads gong onto the little farming lands of this area and their is just a single line railway connection that runs along the River Crouch.

We always go out into the town and visit a pub along the quay for lunch, because Carole's Dad usually likes to eat out most days. It gets him out and about and he likes to chat with fellow Burnham-on-Crouchers.

It was an exceptionally fine autumn day. The weather was warm and the estuary of the River Crouch leading out to the North Sea was very calm. Like a sheet of glass. We had our chicken Rogan Josh with poppadoms in the pub and then went for a walk along the quay towards the edge of the estuary where the North sea looked unusually calm. All in all, it was a fine day.

What this bloke did when his Girlfriend made him a Compelling Offer?

Have a guess what this bloke did when his girlfried dressed up in a sexy halloween outfit and text him to come over and help take it off?

Sometimes the mind just boggles. A guy on a games consul sometimes needs to get a life. No disrespect, but this man is surely dumb or so diabolically spoilt to turn down such an offer. I think he let the side down.

What do you think. :D
