Bob the Cat's New Best Friend is the Fridge.

Bob is a rather reserved and often, crafty cat. He sits by the fridge and just stares at me. He knows that is where the ham is kept. The place where his favourite meat gets lovingly chilled. He looks up at me on the laptop with his big blue eyes. He never responds to much chatter but will if he thinks there might be ham in it for him.
When there is a hint of ham, he suddenly becomes your best friend and he starts to purr and rub his fur aginst your leg or the cupboard. He is, indeed, a most cunning and mercenary cat.
In the picture above, my wife was about to get a good pose when my son Robbie opened the fridge. That was it. I could not contain the big lump. I took the phone and ran a short YouTube video below.

The Mad, the Cranky and the Diabolical (Base Jumper of London)

This 'Day in the Life' from YouTube is about an illegal base jumper. He has done in excess of 1,500 base jumps from high rise buildings. Again, it is something I think is mental, yet I can't help watching this guys adrenalin rush. The man is compelling, yet he is also a complete fruit loop in my humble opinion.

I can't help thinking that people who take such chances and push the boundaries so constantly are some how at the forefront of humanity. It sounds weird, I know, but where would humanity be without the chancers?

He is totally addicted to this underworld sport, but when he talks, you can't help getting the smallest of vibes concerning the excitement and head rush.

Lilly our cat was Killed today. (RIP Little Lilly)

Came back from the town today to find a shawl by the gate. It was our cat Lilly. She had been run over by a vehicle while we were down town. She was a lovely little thing and we had her from a kitten as one can see by the above photo. She had two litters of kittens. She enjoyed the field across the lane where we lived and often went hunting for mice and voles with all the other moggies along the lane. Unfortunately, one can't stop a cat from exploring and little Lilly got hit by a car while we were in town.

Why Eunuch Bob Loves Hareem Lilly

Lilly and her Bodyguard
Eunuch Bob

Hareem Lilly always wants to respond to the big Tabby Tom’s Meowing now that she is a big girl, but her bodyguard, Eunuch Bob, stands sentinel over the Kingdom of our Garden, ferociously driving off poor Tom, who is dying to get better acquainted with Hareem Lilly - the forbidden fruit.
Hareem Lilly
Lilly Loves and plays with Eunuch Bob, but he can’t quite do the things that she might want Tom to do with her, because poor old Eunuch Bob was doctored before we got him.  We would love Hareem Lilly to get out a bit, but Bob follows her and herds her back to the Kingdom of our Garden every time she tries to get next door.

Tabby Tom might have the things necessary for Hareem Lilly to one day hear the patter of tiny paws.  Sadly, when it comes to displaying them before confronting Eunuch Bob; he is extremely lacking on this front. In fact, he has no front at all. I sometimes think that Tabby Tom lends them to Eunuch Bob, because he sounds off like he has a pair whenever any Tom gets anywhere near the Kingdom of our Garden.
Eunuch Bob

Eunuch Bob must let Lilly go out and let her hair down a bit. She needs to kick up her paws and live a little so that we can all rejoice over the patter of tiny paws. Eunuch Bobs takes things very seriously, but he is a very big fat lovely cat with Hareem Liliy’s interests at heart.
