Free were one of my favorite bands when I was a teenager at secondary school. Many of us were saddened by the tragic death of the guitarist, Paul Kossof in 1976. Their music had a raw and primitive sound, but it had a simplistic appeal that was also bold. These musicians were very good and capture a time of great Rock music during this time in Britain. So they deserve a well earned space on the Retro Brit blog. This clip is called the Stealer and was taken from YouTube. Hope you enjoy... :)
