Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody Movie

The last time I went to watch a movie was when Master and Commander was showing. Halfway through the film, the lights came on and the screen went down. I loudly whinged about the inconvenience of it all. and as I turned in my seat, I saw this poor bloke behind staring back into my face while having his heart attack. I wanted the floor to open and swallow me up. All his family were terrified and the ambulance people came rushing in and took the poor bloke away. His distraught family following the bed trolly through the doors. The film resumed and I felt terrible about my ill-timed exasperation.
Being as I'm a bit of a miserable sod at times, I stopped going to the cinema after that.
Then my wife kept banging on about watching the Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody movie. I thought it would be a yawn. I said about my past experiences at the cinema and how I don't really enjoy the thing anymore.
Especially seats. People passing by and having to stand up for them etc. Well, I decided to go to the afternoon performance just to please her. I was not looking forward to it.
To my surprise the New Light cinema complex, in Wisbech, is excellent. People can get past without me having to stand up. The seats were very comfortable and there was leg room. Great! Things have changed. The adds were just nearing their end for the movie to commence.
Suddenly another commotion behind. A young girl, perhaps about 12 or 13 is standing in front of her mother choking on a sweet. She is right behind me. Again, I'm thinking, "Is it me?" "Am I a bad luck cinema going omen."
Whatever you do, don't f~#king sit behind me.
Fortunately, the usher gave her a bang on the back and so too did her mother and then the girl brought up the sweet. My wife was looking at me with that look of dread. I'm raising my eyebrows thinking, "Don't look at me like that."
The panic was over and the movie began. Any bad thoughts of cinema were swept away. I was riveted to the movie from start to finish. It was an absolute peach of a film and I would highly recommend watching it. This was a wonderful experience. I think this will be one of those movies that everyone will own when it goes to DVD or on Amazon etc. It is a movie that you can watch again and again. It will become an epic cult movie in the course of time. I was so pleased I went to see it and I promise never to be a miserable git about cinema again. 😍😎👍
