Black holes in space provide a romantic source for speculation and sci/fi writers have a field day with them. Many hope these are gateways to distant parts of the universe, but most scientists do not believe this because of the intense gravity that crushes everything that is sucked in. They remain compelling, yet terrible forces of the universe. However, sometimes it is good to dream for a time.
