The great plague known as the Black Death is believed to have come to Europe from Asia. There are many stories accounting for how it originally came. The path of the plague seems to have spread from southern Europe to the North and from East to West. This deadly disease tore a path through all the nations in Europe and one by one the various countries succumb to the deadly blight. Italy, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Finland and eventually, even Greenland.
