Lulu stands famous among the retro Brit sixties - the lady from Glasgow had a tv show too, if I remember rightly. This is one of her first songs that propelled her into the music scene. She had been in a movie too. It had Sidney Poittier as a black school teacher trying to control a secondary school class of under privileged kids in Britain. The movie was called, 'To Sir with Love,' sung by Lulu, who played one of the school pupils in the film.
