Moyra Melons Army Ear Rings

Moyra Melons was talking to her husband about his army career and was amused by the drill he had to do when on the parade ground. She asked him to show her how he was drilled and it was something he delighted in doing for her.

"Alright then," he grinned and began to bark out the orders to himself, while complying with the drill instruction.

Moyra Melons was most amused and said, "Is that what the Sergent called out. I could comply with that, if I was allowed to wear my ear rings."

Her husband raised a suspicious eye-brow. "Oh you could, could you?"

"Yes," she replied. "I'm certain I can."

"Well," he continued. "You have to wear army clothing and if you get it wrong, when I call out drill instructions, you'll get punished."

"Why, is that what happens in the army?" Moyra looked a little perplexed.

"Oh yes," replied her husband with a slight grin.

Moyra Melons quickly went off and came back changed in a camouflaged skirt and army green top. When she stood before her husband she asked. "Will this do?"

"You're wearing ear rings still," he scolded. "You can't wear ear rings on a parade ground. The sergeant would go ballistic."

"These are regulation army ear rings," Moyra teased. "You'll have to make a concession on that one."

"Oh alright then." he grinned. "Are you ready?"

"Of course," she answered enthusiastically.
"SQUAD!" Shouted Moyra's husband.

Moyra almost jumped out of her skin at the sudden outburst, and then, realising she had to respond in some way, stood to attention and saluted.

"You don't do that," said her husband. "You'll have to be punished."

"I thought that was what I was supposed to do. What regiment were you in?"

"42 group Army Cadet Force - Romford branch," he answered quickly.

"That's for boys, not men," Moyra scoffed. "You were an army cadet."

"Yeah," agreed her husband. "But we got to play with guns and things - big boys toys. You got it wrong and now you must be punished."

Being a good sport Moyra Melons complied with her husband's punishment. She decided that she would never get very far learning army drill instruction. She would always end up getting punished as a big boy's toy.
