Awaken by Yes Part 1 of 2

Going for the One was an album by the band called, Yes. I think it was released around 1977. It was one of the first albums I bought when I started work and did so blindly on the strength of one track called Wondrous Stories. It was a chance I was so pleased I took as it was complete with all great tracks. This one, in the clip above, I loved to bits. It made my mind wonder and dream of all sorts of things. It was during a time when the progressive rock bands of the 70s were loosing their dominance to other forms of music. Punk, new wave plus new romantics would have a niche in the Brit music scene. However, bands like Yes and Genesis still gave a good account during the twilight years for progressive rock.
