Neanderthal Man vs Cro Magon Man

According to this clip. Neanderthal Man and Cro-Magon Man did not interbreed and the last known traces of complete Neanderthal was dated back at 22,000 years. Some people believe Neanderthal Man became extinct due to competition with Cro-Magon Man moving upon their territory and with violent conflict. Others think they could have mixed with us. There seems to be so many conflicted beliefs concerning DNA, it is hard to know what to believe. In some learned writings Neanderthal Man is described as carnivorous and an apex predator, which means they were at the top of the food chain and had no predators to concern them. How could Cro-Magnon Man have caused this species extinction then? Maybe they did mix. The above clip is interesting but favours no integration. I suppose there is still much for us to learn about Neanderthal Man and distant DNA testing, where a common ancestor is concerned.
