This gigantic asteroid came very close to the Earth and had a small moon type satellite going around it. If this baby had struck the Earth it would have wiped out much of the Earth's life. It is doubtful that mankind would have survived.
However, the second clip offers hope of being able to build some kind of base upon an asteroid after it is towed and put in orbit of our moon. Then it can be redirected with a human crew on board and sent into space.
