I remember when this Who song was a single in 1972. At the time, I was only eleven years of age and was just beginning to take interest in the music scene. I liked the song, but was unaware of how big the Who really were. I knew of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones as a kid, but I'd never heard of The Who or realised much to do with them. After this song; I learnt more about them.
